My Dear Friend,

You have very powerful, natural intuition, we all do.  We just need to learn how to listen to it. Once we do, we begin to see how connected we are with each other and the world around us, the ground below us and the sky above us.

There comes a time in all of our lives when our natural inner balance becomes, well... unnaturally unbalanced.  Sudden trauma or a prolonged life of stress and poor diet can have very serious consequences on our overall health and quality of life. What matters most is getting back in balance with ourselves and the earth and when that happens, you will see immediate and amazing transformations in your life.

Would you like to connect with that natural balance within you?
Would you like to live an abundant life in harmony with the Earth?
Would you like to learn tools from nature to balance and calm your daily life?

I have spent my life studying all over the world and have gained many beautiful insights that I want to share with you.

I want to help you connect with your inner Earth Mama and encourage you to make the change that will keep you happier and healthier for life while finding your own way to THRIVE!

                     Your Skin is Amazing!

Picture
The skin is the largest organ in the body and the outer layer that we present to the world.  It is a truly remarkable organ in its direct reflection of what is going on inside your body.  It weighs approximately 8 pounds and stretches 22 square feet with about 300 million cells. Laid out in a line, your skin contains about 45 miles of nerves!

You shed about 600,000 particles of skin every hour, which weighs around 1.5 pounds per year, so by the age of 70, you will have shed about 105 pounds of skin! In healthy people, the body produces an entire new skin layer every 28 days and is thickest on the soles of the feet and thinnest on the eyelids.

Engaging in a lifestyle that is against your bodies’ natural constitution creates an imbalance and leads to toxicity, inevitably manifesting in skin conditions. Since the skin is bodies’ largest organ and exposed to most of the natural and man-made dangers, it is understandable that it is susceptible to more problems than any other organ in the human body. For those suffering from a skin condition, realizing that skin problems are extremely common might bring some comfort.

The skin is our body’s detoxification pathway where it pushes toxins up through its 3 million sweat glands, emitting up to 3 gallons of sweat per day depending on the level of activity. It is however busy at all times, regulating our temperature and protecting us from the outside world while absorbing and processing essential Vitamin D.

Dirt is NOT Dirty...

Picture
At present, our culture is overly obsessive about germs, cleanliness, and hygiene. Parents are constantly washing their children's hands, using antibacterial soap, alcohol tinged wipes or changing them the second they have dirt on their clothes. It is natural for children to be as close to nature as possible and the research is out about whether there is a connection between getting dirty and a strong immune system. They have found that this modern obsession with germs and cleanliness might be leading to the rise in allergies, asthma and inflammatory bowel disease.

What is it about a child's attraction to dirt?

According to Mary Ruebush PhD, author of Why Dirt is Good: 5 Ways to Make Germs Your Friends, attraction is based on millions of years of evolution. Just like any other muscle in our body, the immune system needs to be exercised in order to fully develop and become strong enough to resist illness and disease. Eating dirt as a child turns out to be the ideal training to build your immune system's overall fitness."What a child is doing when he puts things in his mouth is allowing his immune response to explore his environment," Mary Ruebush wrote "Not only does this allow for 'practice' of immune responses, which will be necessary for protection, but it also plays a critical role in teaching the immature immune response what is best ignored." Children who grow up on farms and are exposed to all sorts of bugs, worms and natural elements have demonstrably fewer allergies and autoimmune problems than urban children who spend most of their time indoors. Playing outside barefoot every now and again and digging in the dirt more often would do wonders for the health of today's youngsters.

Dearest Alex,
Thank you so much for all of your support and counseling throughout my whole pregnancy and after little Violet's birth.  I can't tell you what all of your advice and suggestions did for me!  I love how you come from a traditional psychotherapy background, and yet you're such an Earth Mama with all of your holistic remedies and recommendations.  : You have such a vast knowledge that is invaluable and I'm sure the experience raising your three little girls only enhances your wisdom.  Finally, thank you for encapsulating my placenta.  You were right!  That made all the difference in the world.  I've had zero post-partum depression and am back into my jeans after only 2 months!  I really feel like the placenta capsules you made were a big part of that.

Thank you so much dear for all of your love and support.  I am forever grateful.

With Love,

~ Rose
